RTA CASHBACK

The M4 / M5 Cashback Scheme was introduced on 1 January 1997, by the NSW State Government. Under this scheme, motorists driving NSW privately registered vehicles on the M4 and the M5 Motorways can claim a refund of the tolls paid (excluding GST) from the NSW State Government.

From 16 February 2010, the Cashback Scheme will no longer apply to the M4. However, Cashback claims for the M4 can still be made after this date for tolls paid up to and including 15 February 2010. Eligible Cashback claimants are reminded that rebates must be claimed within 12 calendar months of the end of the Cashback quarter.
